We’re more stable than we were in the 90’s thanks to the civil war ending but that isn’t saying much. I’d say we’re still pretty unstable compared to our neighbors Belize and Mexico. I heavily doubt tourism will take over the country. We’re too big for that to happen and other industries contribute much more. It’ll be a nice little boon for the mentioned cities and departments. Guatemala is still pretty unsafe in several areas and I doubt they’ll be sending tourist busses to those places anytime soon.

That explains the number of tourists in my town that I’ve been seeing lately. We used to be pretty closed off and only missionaries ever bothered coming down here. Now we’ve been seeing people come from all over. It’s mixed. More people are cool but there’s also more sexpats.
That’s how old Guatemalan men talk lol
Earth Day and George Floyd, apparently
El Salvador has been taken over by Reddit liberals scolding Salvadorans
Blinken was kind of as well

It’s extremely frustrating how popular that show is with Guatemalan women. Tbf I think most see it as cheap entertainment and don’t actually want to end up like those women.
Feel that hard. My hair is naturally curly and foreign whites, especially boomers, get very angry when it’s grown past a certain length.
Until public schools make it a mandatory watch
Problem is that libs will point to this as a uniquely Trump/Republican problem
