The "ninja swords" he seems to be referring too are more or less sharpened crowbars ordered for a few bucks from mall ninja shops. This kind of junk

Damn that is dark. Mail service is one of the fundamental pillars of civilization.
It is absolutely unfathomable to me how someone could right a whole series about being able to swap bodies without two much trouble and then be a terf.

Yeah so the UK doesn't actually have any protections for speech, assembly, or protest. It barely did twenty years ago and successive governments have crushed whatever legal protections were left. The protections people assume they have can be rescinded without recourse at the whim of the crown. They're norms, not actual laws.
Also, the Metropolitan Police are probably one of the most repressive police forces in the world and directly and fully integrated with the UK's domestic counter-intelligence services.

The biggest problem with AC Shadows is the perfect Japanese Assassin's Creed game already came out. This studio called Acquire (all one word, pronounced phonetically) came out of nowhere in 1998 and released this game called Tenchu: Stealth Assassins, then just dipped off the face of the earth.
It does everything an assassin's creed game does, but better. And no one knows where they came from or has heard from them since.
And now they're finding out as they realize that the wunderluften they spent countless billions on is not only a bad plane, but also dependent on an at best unreliable ally. So now they're going to do ruinous austerity to shift production to new planes to fight a country that absolutely does not have the miltiary capacity to invade them and is only at war with them because they overreached in their international fuckery and found out that enough artillery shells can overwhelm any NATO wunderwaffen.

Hmm. Where is my eye gouging out fork I never want to read something like that again.
"Careful chief! Any price the market offers is, by definition, fair!"
Probably search my posts for "American Civic Religion" and variations of that.
The depths of anti-communist delusion are fully on display when Euros think that a fragmentary rump state can or would do what the USSR never attempted at the height of it's global super-power
