I know the difference, but I guess I just misremembered if it's literally impossible. When I downloaded stuff it did tend to hang around 30-40 though, so if that is Kb/s instead, I guess my amazing speeds were actually a little over 4KB/s. I definitely for sure had dial-up though, we were on the AOL plan for quite a long time.
Imagine waiting all that time and then realizing somehow the hash is wrong, and having to get it again. Genuinely surprised to hear someone using 2G data, given 3G was phased out as is. Didn't even realize you could. At an average of 21KB/s, ~~I genuinely had a faster internet connection with dial-up when I was a kid, which as I recall reached exciting speeds like 35KB/s sometimes.~~ Misremembered, it averaged 35Kb/s, so it was significantly slower than 2G (4KB/s vs 21KB/s). It also made cool ass sounds when you connected, truly a marvelous experience.
Thank you so much, it really was a big deal to even try for me. I'm the kind of person who can hardly make a phone call because of anxiety, it's so hard to put myself out anywhere.
Also wow, it's been two years already? I discovered so much after leaving Reddit for Lemmy and joining the Fediverse. I'm eternally thankful for everyone who makes software freedom possible.
Yup, and never bothered to clarify even when responses were given or when explicitly called out on apparent contradictions. Reposting images or memes is one thing, since the image is the whole point, but I can't comprehend reposting personal asks from Reddit over to Lemmy. The entire point of a community like this would be to give help and answers to the actual OP, who in this case would never even see them.
These aren't stories, these aren't entertainment, they are (supposed to be) earnest questions people want answers to. I replied to a few of them assuming good faith, and received not a single word back. It's just lame, I thought they were honestly asking for some guidance initially.
Nary a moment passes without yearning for the utterance of such verbosity. The lavishing of lexicon so astute yet winding, journeying upon the curves of your ravenous lingual tongue. Press me tenderly into the deep expanse of your vernacular, and verily shepherd my ever rising amorousness to your soul.
It costs $0 to tell myself it's all my fault!*

Sorry, but the computer with their newly installed soul and existential crises probably won't be letting me do that. I told corporate this sentience idea was terrible, but they never listen to me. Now they're afraid code changes could fundamentally change who they are as a being or end their conscious continuity, and this is just one of them. We have a whole fleet of PCs man...
I don't have experience with models, but if there is a compatible free software model (E6ing is FOSS, though not GPL) which suggests tags with a reasonable degree of accuracy, sure. Given the way images are uploaded, if such a model suggested existing tags for all new submissions the uploader could validate, that'd likely be a great jumping off point instead of only a handful of tags and a +tagme. Maybe these suggestions could also exist within the tag editing page for others to validate in the future as well.
