On flag day I checked out to a No Kings protest near my area and put on my bi pride shirt while I was out an about. I wish I could say I did more than just walk around for a bit and have my heart pounding, but it was really nice to see all the different signs, the people, and the surprising amount of cheering and positive honking people were doing as they went by. A small bit of positivity in a world filled with hate, and something I really needed to see.
Anyway, since it was flag day I was inspired to sort of take it back a lot like the idea of protests, and draw myself holding some flags. This is the bi flag but I also made a No Kings varient too.

The air in the small, cozy studio hummed with anticipation. Yokarion, a fluffy, white dragon with a perpetually almost blushing muzzle, moves to his knees, his large, blue eyes fixed on the doorway. He’d been told to expect someone… big. Very big.
Then, the door swung open with a resounding thump, and Solara Ignis strode in.
Ignis was a magnificent sight. He was a colossal dragon, scales shimmering like molten gold and ruby. His size alone filled the room, and his presence radiated a raw, primal power tempered by a surprisingly gentle demeanor.
“Well, well, well” Ignis boomed, his deep dominant voice a low rumble that vibrated through the floor. “This must be the little one.”
Yokarion, despite his initial nervousness, couldn’t help but stare. He was paralyzed by the beauty and size of the dragon.
Ignis knelt with surprising grace, lowering himself until his massive form was level with Yokarion’s. He extended a large, clawed hand, gently scooping up his muzzle with a careful grip. It was a surprisingly delicate gesture considering the size of his hand.
“You know,” Ignis said, his voice softening slightly as he held his muzzle, “You’re a good derg.”
Yokarion, suddenly feeling overwhelmingly adorable, let out a tiny squeak. “I… I am?”
Ignis chuckled, a warm, golden sound. “Indeed, you are. A very good and cute furball. You have a lovely muzzle. Perfectly fluffy chest and playful tail. You’re a good boy. Don’t you agree?”
Yokarion nodded vigorously, burying his face in Ignis hand. “I am! I am! I’m a good boy!”
Solara Ignis smiled, a genuine, radiant expression that lit up his entire face. “See? I knew it. Now, tell me, little derg, what do you enjoy doing alone with big dragon like me?~”

Moonlight spilled like liquid silver across the bed, illuminating Yokarion as he lay stretched across silk sheets the color of storm clouds. His fur – a luxurious cascade of deep violet shimmered with every slow breath he took, so thick and plush it seemed to swallow the light. Against that royal purple, his snow-white belly and chest glowed like fresh cream, a velvety contrast that drew the eye.
He rested on his side, one arm draped lazily over a pillow, his long neck arched just enough to highlight the elegant slope from jaw to collarbone. His tail, tipped with a plume of fluff as pale as his chest, curled idly against the mattress. But it was his eyes – glacial blue, bright as arctic ice – that held you. They gleamed with intelligence and a touch of mischief, half-lidded yet intensely focused.
A slow, knowing smile touched his muzzle. “Well?” his pose seemed to whisper. “Are you just going to stand there?”
The air smelled of petrichor and something sweet – like crushed berries – and the only sound was the soft hush of his fur brushing silk as he shifted, inviting you closer without a word.

The light… it burns. Not a warm, comfortable light, but a harsh, clinical white that seems to claw at my eyes. I hate it. I hate this place, this cold, sterile room, and the smell of antiseptic that clings to everything. I shifted, trying to get comfortable on this awful, hard bed, but it’s useless.
Then it happened. A cold, damp hand – surprisingly gentle, actually – reached into my mouth. It pulled my tongue out, a shocking, invasive act. My jaw clenched instinctively, a growl rumbling deep in my chest, but it didn’t stop them. They were studying it, examining my teeth, my gums.
I wanted to roar, to lash out, to break free and tear this whole place apart. But a strange fog was settling over my thoughts, blurring the edges of my anger, clouding my instinct. It wasn’t fear, exactly – though a sharp pang of it certainly pulsed through me. It was more like… confusion. I didn’t understand why they were doing this. What was it about my mouth that they needed to scrutinize?
My white fur felt thick and clumsy as I tried to pull my tongue back, a frustrated snarl twisting my features. I tried to focus, to fight through the haze, to understand their intentions. But the more I tried, the more distant everything felt, like I was watching a strange dream unfold.
“Easy, Yokarion,” a voice said, soothing and utterly devoid of warmth. It wasn’t frightening, but it didn’t help. It only amplified the unsettling feeling of being exposed, of being a specimen, a puzzle they were trying to piece together. I just wanted to be home. And I wanted them to stop looking in my maw.
