That sounds cool but the execution is very poor. The case doesnt jump out as a toystory case and then it doesnt match the style of toystory. It needs more grey plastic and rounded edges and less sharp glass edges.

After PIC looks nicer but before picture looks more useful and practical. If theyre just going to replace the road with grass like that I'd rather they didnt. Put a bike path and a ton more seating.

I think the technical imperfections are not the real reason people are against it. In my opinion it just can't be trusted to have a corp in control. It would be like having Microsoft own the activity pub repo.

Oh those desks were so shit. You forget something and lift it up only for all your books and paper to slide off and people laugh at your misery.

OK its ugly, thats a plus. Now how hard is it to use because i dont want a text editor that i can just open and start editing text without an instruction manual.

They're transferring ownership of the project to the independent production company that produced it so it may still see the light of day.

Today i was looking through the top popular shorts in a private tab. It was so depressing there were countless AI slop videos getting 300m views.

People just dont care. Its why I love Lemmy, here the people care about the tech they use and content they consume. People here have standards. But most people arent like that and eventually everyone will be designed for them and there won't be anything for us and there will be less and less people like us. I love technology and I hate what's happening to tech so much.

I have an irrational fear of this exact situation happening to. I have rehearsed answers to all this weird little small talk questions about myself.

I must have spent thousands of hours small talking with myself in my own head and I'm still shit at it.

As soon as I read >straight I know I'm about to read borderline gay smut.

This guy has been on 4chan way long and is stuck in a quantum state of hating gays but being gay

One drive, outlook and teams between the 3 of them have broken search almost weekly it seems.

At least according to 365 health.

Regime change is supporting a group inside the country to take power from the entrenched group. There is no reason that it would inherently fail. The current regime is young and deeply unpopular. All throughout history it occurs and succeeds.

When you have a pariah state like Iran, having a change of regime can give them a path back into the world community. The people in Iran are old enough to remember a time before the current regime and the liberty they enjoyed.

The situation is already proxy wars. If regime change leads to proxy wars nothing has changed. If it leads to an end to proxy wars then its good.

Why do people meme as if airlines are killing a statistically relevant number of people? I'm genuinely curious

As I understand, its a blip for both companies. Unless I'm reading the graph wrong, the death rate is 1 in 20million.

Boeing has 1 crash per 184million flights.

I was looking through Userbenchmarks at a few different GPU's and I noticed that every single review for all GPU's included a negative review about AMD GPU's falsifying data, paying people to shill and experienced gamers knowing that AMD is a bad choice. I looked a little further and saw that all these reviews came from one account and after digging more it seems that this is userbenchmarks account considering they've made videos expressing the same sentiment on their youtube channel.

Its insane to me how one of the highest trafficked hardware comparison websites is blatantly this biased and still has the balls to accuse AMD of paid sponsorship. What are some better hardware comparison sites to use?

I cant seem to get rid of the high rent tags on my residential and industrial sectors. For residential Ive tried adding low cost housing but i dont know what to try with industrial.

I am trying to install this package on Nobara 38 but it only seems to be available on Deb and Ubuntu https://pkgs.org/download/libpcre3-dev

I've looked around and it seems I need to build the package from source but I cannot find the source or figure out how to build it. I downloaded libpcre3-dev_8.39-15_amd64.deb but im not sure what to do with the file.

I found the PCRE website but it doesn't have a libpcre3-dev https://www.pcre.org/

It might just be easier to do what I need to do in an ubuntu VM. Any advice on how to get this package installed would be appreciated.

I typically buy stir fry mixes and then throw them on a hot pan and try cook the water out but this leaves them dry and burnt.

Hello, I cant seem to find any upto date info on this topic and all the old threads seem to suggest that these features do not work well on linux.

I am looking to get a 144hz monitor that is at least 2k in resolution. I have an Nvidia graphics card and KDE Plasma. I want to run two monitors and the 2nd monitors is 60hz and 1080p. Would this cause issues? Is there anything I need to consider when looking for a monitor?
