OK its ugly, thats a plus. Now how hard is it to use because i dont want a text editor that i can just open and start editing text without an instruction manual.

Alt-F, X

Although I get this is more of a tongue-in-cheek comment.

Depends how long you’re using it

The longer your session, the harder it gets?

your muscle memory might like the fact Edit shares many of the latter’s keybindings. This could make it easier to slot in to your workflow compared to vim or nano (though I stress it’s not a replacement for either of those).

I have no experience with vim, only deep fear. But tell me how this new edit could not be a replacement for nano? I use nano a lot and it's quite simple?

That's why I learned nano in 1993 and never grew from there.

Not even an allusion to emacs

@cm0002 When we have Emacs, Nvi, Vim, Nano, wtf would we pollute our systems with Microshaft?

@cm0002 Slipperly slope.

@cm0002 I know the deep state wants us all to have Windows or Mac so they can spy on us, and if they can't force us into shit operating systems then they want to pollute ours so they can spy on us.

It's open source. If they're spying it will be blatantly obvious.
