White dude here. Is it just me or does anyone find it really strange that this question has been asked here so many times? Like I genuinely don’t understand the obsession that some people here have with desperately wanting black people at the protests, even though they are more likely to be targeted by the authorities (didn’t the US marines recently arrest the first black guy they saw in LA?).

Instead of focusing and obsessing over the race of the protestors, we should focus more on the fight itself and using our white privilege to protect the POC and the marginalized that were brave enough to show up

The good news about this is that they are terrified about what we the people will do. The bad news is that they believe we must be suppressed.

I am a peaceful protester. I have a history of peacefully protesting. Apparently, my history doesn’t matter. I want to appeal again, but Reddit does not allow it.
