There's a long glorious history of things being AI until computers can do them, and then the research area is renamed to something specific to describe the limits of it.

Yes it's not out of the blue, he's been a political opportunist for a very long time. The precise type of opportunism depends on exactly which minority lives in whichever by-election constitency he's rolled into most recently.
Western military uses bombs and missiles from planes not artillery. There isn't much artillery ammo because our military isn't set up to use it.
Ukraine doesn't have the air superiority to risk doing the same thing so the way they fight doesn't match the way Europe or the us does.

The attack on Ukraine was an attempt at this, and would have fractured NATO had it worked because it would work just as well against Estonia
This is a bit unfair, for all its gigantic problems the creation engine is much better at supporting modding than unity or unreal.
Perhaps a more deterministic scripting engine would be better but it'd be easy to lose the one thing that makes their games good. I still can't believe they thought starfield would work with the modding tools MIA four months out
That level of change is rebuilding the entire surburb to be more dense. There isn't the building capacity to do this to all of them , even if by some miracle you found the money.
You can't make a bus route work when the area it's travelling through is so spread out, it has to stop too much and drive for too long and costs more than it can make in fares.
