Because it sometimes makes me feel better about there potentially being some purpose to us if we were created intentionally, provides a placeholder explanation for what's out there besides the universe, makes life more fun, and does not harm anyone (I'm not religious).

TIL, I thought we usually kill the older animals first.

Yeah, but the living ones are not asking "hooman, what happened to Stacy?"

Considering that negotiating with livestock would be a hassle, probably just pretend we can't understand them

I only really like STALKER I think, because it's generally compressed and dense rather than stretching out over nothingness. It's technically multiple levels than being overworld I guess.

I didn't get Breath of the Wild.

Yes, actually. Believe it or not, every Russian and Ukrainian had to make that choice already, and WITHOUT the 1 in 3 months visit option. This is a pretty small problem by comparison. Also, nitpick, but doesn't a couple eventually move into one place anyway?

Plenty of Russians are still not opposed to the war with Ukraine. I suppose we're at a standstill, then.

As for pros of doing so, the article says it, potential sabotage. We already have had troubles at the Poland/Belarus border for years, so this seems fair to me. Could also be specifically preventing Russians working in Lithuania and then heading back to take advantage of/boosting Russian economy.

Sounds like the answer to all of them is the same as the guy you're replying to mentioned: they move back to Russia, or stay in Lithuania. Choose and commit. Sorry that you're losing out, but Lithuania doesn't owe you anything.

If my country started fucking with a neighbour, I wouldn't blame them for pushing against it. Also seems like plenty of Americans who are against Trump seem to be all for other countries countering.

The character designs are better than I remember, but thet still seem a bit generic. Maybe it's just because we didn't see their character yet though.

Despite common sense I bought The Hundred Line at launch, but thankfully it is indeed a very solid game. To the point I spent 25 hours playing it over 3 days. It's more or less a Danganronpa game, so it might be too cringy for some people, but having gained enough tolerance to those things it's wonderful. Probably better than DR, but it's apples and oranges in some aspects.

One "problem" is that the game is really easy, and the whole SRPG part is mostly to enchance the story. It's still really fun, I think that like with Kirby they intentionally wanted a game that anyone can approach. And though I'm just getting started it also does indeed appear to have 100 endings, I ended up on the romance route from my first set of decisions...

I don't follow the genre, but I heard that apparently Steam is also very inconsistent in terms of banning visual novels. And the fans seem to be pretty dedicated to them, so you have an example right there.

I'm personally all for "everything goes", since the adults only settings exist, which might as well double as "disturbing content" filter. At the same time, it's Valve's choice what they want to host, and I don't know a good balance of "reputation vs freedom", which they realistically have to keep.

I'd imagine Russians opposing the Ukraine war would especially be targets, maybe you misread the comment and the "bad take"? Trump would be eager to get rid of pro-Ukraine speakers for Putin.

(A source would be nice too)

I have this on my wishlist, though it's unlikely I'll get that farr down the backlog

I'm planning to buy Sonic ~~& SEGA~~ All-Stars Racing Transformed ~~(what a title...)~~(Edit:I'm stoopid) and I remembered how fun it felt to control the first game on the Wii.

I tried looking up if you can replicate the same on the Steam Deck with its gyro, but my searches mostly talk about connecting steering wheel controllers. Did anyone use a setup like this from the community layouts, does it even work?

I'm replaying DeSu, doing the other routes one by one, and I've been wondering about how things play out if you let everyone die. Primarily how the Belial fight gets skipped (or so I heard), does the death clock, just, disappear before the fight?

Anyways, my idea was:

-quickly pick Yuzu route and 8th day on a "good" playthrough for another route, just to see how it looks when everyone lives, including the "protect Tokyo" sidequest

-reload save, do whatever other route I was doing

-as my final route, if I still feel like it, do a "jerkass route" where I let everyone die and do Yuzu ending

However, I know that you need Gin to do that sidequest. I guess I'll see the details once I do it on a "good" Yuzu route, but, if I want 100% completion on a single save, then I'll need to keep him alive? Or would I also need Haru alive, in case Gin gets sad and won't help? Or, most likely, I guess I'll just say "screw it" and resist the urge to see a 100% number on a save, if I did all I needed to over multiple saves. (Lucifer can't be that bad, right? Right?)

Also, right now I'm doing Atsuro's, I am way past the choice of letting Haru die, and will need to keep her alive for Amane and Gin's routes. So, Yuzu is the only I could let her die in now.

Alternatively, if there's a let's play, walkthrough or video that could satisfy my deranged needs to see these characters suffer, that would solve this problem easily. Or if someone tells me if Gin dying actually has any impact on the characters for more than 1 day. If not and it's just like two lines in the evening, I'll keep him alive on the "jerkass" run too.

Edit: Oh shit, I only now realised there's a message skip option, why didn't I see this? This should make replays faster, I haven't played in a while so this time I'm listening to dialogue tho

I've made it through the whole modern Persona series (besides dancing games) and the whole 3DS library. Also Nocturne and SH2.

I don't play to play the really obscure games like Majin Tensei or Demikids, but something like SMT1,2 or Devil Summoner (is that one translated?) sounds like something I'd still play. So, I'm barely halfway there, and these games were my main focus for a few years now.

I wish I had the dedication to do that

Not sold on Yukari's, but besides that they sound good. Shinjiro's and Ken's didn't do many roles before but I think it's safe to trust the voice director at Atlus West.

I recognised only two of the new voice actors, but this one made my day Context: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EzIUBvum8as

Lol forget I put the pic in here first Edit:why is it not displaying on the app, Jerba hates png?

For a start I guess I'll just share the EOU manga, which is being translated by aariachang24. You can submit fanart or memes (I don't know if you can do that via mangadex though, so here's the Reddit post). https://www.reddit.com/r/EtrianOdyssey/comments/13jo6ax/etrian_untold_manga_guy_here_give_me_fan_art/

There's also the webcomics and the EO2 manga: https://mangadex.org/title/2c1ed758-4d64-4735-949e-e5148afa389e/sekaiju-no-meikyuu-comics

https://mangadex.org/title/c51bfb68-f09c-4fdf-8545-b7731a24eea6/etrian-odyssey-ii-the-snowflake-girl

I made this sub as an alternative to r/EtrianOdyssey. Though it's not as big a deal as other subreddits migrating, given how small it was - it was basically just for new players to find advice (which, probably won't be here as much, given how lemmy is harder to wrap your head around) and for sharing fanart/memes once in a week.

What I did notice from my few hours on lemmy, however, is that it's pretty good at recommending new communities. So if you're from Sopuli.xyz (or other instance if this community gets going) and stumbled upon here, welcome! Try our dungeon-crawler with fantastic combat and party building!
