Congrats! I fucking gagged.

I wonder if he applies his foundation with his hamberder bun, then eats it?

It can be both. Spray tan can wash off unevenly if you bathe, so make up evens out the finish.

Not that I'm assuming he showers that much, but I imagine he at least wipes the grease away from his mouth on occasion.

I regularly get temporary hair color to some of my hair (pinks or purples). Because they fade slightly with each wash, my goal is to only wash once a week in cold water to get the most bang for my buck. Days 1-3 no additional products needed, dry shampoo 4,5, (some hair pulled back/styled up) and days 6,7 I'll put my hair up. I still shower regularly, just put my hair up and cover it when I do. Depending on activity levels if I'm getting sweaty, I'll probably shorten it to a 5 day cycle.

According to the lady I go to she has plenty of women that have weekly hair appointments for a wash, blowout, and style that basically do the same (and no - they're not all "old ladies.")

Cancer is a good one for weight loss too.

Never comment on someone's weight unless you 1) know them personally and they've shared their goals with you, and 2) see them achieving those goals and you know they'd appreciate the support. Otherwise it's fine just to mind your own business and not say a damn thing, because maybe you just don't know.

Having volunteered at a church's food distribution for over 25 years, I can say that some food banks are pretty special with how they do things. We purchase food from a large food bank for distribution once a month. If the food bank has a lot of produce or something they haven't been able to move, sometimes they'll throw a pallet or two extra on the trailer when we pick it up, so that they can get rid of it. When we get the trailer, sometimes it's just a surprise what we end up with.

In general, we have some people that come that have extended families or neighbors that they give some of the surplus to. Then there's the church that were hosted at. There's some things that they're able to keep for the next day to offer to the parishioners. Beyond that, there's the occasional phone call to other churches to see if anybody could use it. In the end, the pastor knows a pig farmer where if we have a surplus of a surplus, some stuff will go to.

You can freeze them if you plan on cooking with them. I ended up with an obscene amount of tomatoes one year that were amazingly tasty and I was so sad that I couldn't process them before they went bad. My aunt told me to freeze them - it was perfect! They also make for great weapons when frozen, and when you thaw them the skins come right off!

What if you're the jetpack but your partner is gassy? Damn lactose intolerance.

I appreciate the sentiment, but it still leaves some of that "no need to be depressed! Just eat organic home made meals, get 8hrs uninterrupted sleep on schedule, and take a couple hours a day to walk in the woods - it's free so anyone can do it!" taste in my mouth.

Yikes! The use of the term "packet" was initially confusing to me. Here in the States it's not uncommon to see small packets of a single dose of over the counter medicines in gas stations and convenience stores for when you're not at home and something comes up. The directions for extra strength Tylenol are 2 every 6hrs (1000mg dose) not exceeding 3 doses per day.

I was thinking "4 packets over 3 days, what's the big deal?"

Was your mom always goofing things up and was her friend's name Ethel?

Seriously, I was raised with so much propaganda.

Up until my late twenties I had believed basically everything I was taught in school. I never had reason to question it, as I was basically living in a bubble. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that when the colonists arrived to this country, it wasn't just big empty open spaces that the native Americans gladly shared with us. Funny enough, that's roughly when I gained access to the internet.

Please don't include X with the boomers. Since we stepped into the real world and realized it functions completely differently than what we were raised to believe, life's just been a neverending string of "wait, that was wrong too?" We just want to survive another day under the radar.

Sorry fellow X'rs for publicly acknowledging our existence. Hopefully this post doesn't get any upvotes. *Pulls blanket back over my head.
