If you really want to step up your game, try buying raw meat, cooking it, and slicing it for sandwiches. I do this with chicken and it's served me really well at very low cost.

Believe it or not, top-shelf bacon. It's got more bacon in it. Less water. You're not paying nearly as much more per ounce of actual meat as it looks at first.

Lots of "organic" produce has a significantly longer shelf life than the basic stuff too. Never mind whether it's any healthier or tastier, I'm not saving any money if I pay a dollar less and it starts molding before I can eat half of it.

That's always true. But if they distract each other from committing genocide and helping Russia, respectively, the world may be generally better off, especially long-term.

Eh, if his losses in court weren't relevant, he wouldn't bother screeching about them. Not that hard at least. He does seem to like screeching for its own sake.

I love it when horrible people kill each other.

I think it's the same answer as for any religion: The holy book is long enough that you can cherry-pick and reinterpret any desired ideology from it, so you really need to look at a specific sect or an individual believer for a question like that has meaningful and consistently applicable answers.

Twelve is the best number.

It'd be grand if they released some names.

Those old bathing suits look like they'd be uncomfortable when wet and take forever to dry. Awful choice. Practically, less is more in the water.

I let myself get into a cycle of caffeine to stay awake and booze to fall asleep again this week. Not really big numbers for consumption by most standards, but it's been enough strain to change how I handle the week's political upheaval and make me generally irritable, which isn't fun. I don"t have to do anything tomorrow though, so I'll be able to set myself right.

I'm not aware of actual death occurring from sleep deprivation, just serious cognitive issues. That guy would die first though if it can be fatal, because the coke it would take to do so would add a lot of strain to his systems that she wouldn't be enduring. That fanfic sounds both evil and really stupid.

Musk has said things that will actually affect the coup's success. I've been led to believe that the big ugly bill would kill the federal EV tax credit. If this is superficial, it's the best-orchestrated maneuver they've ever made by orders of magnitude. I think it's real. Faking this convincingly is almost certainly beyond them, and I think they'd have done it differently if Musk were just trying to fix his PR damage.

The use-cases for which they're prohibitively bad aren't super uncommon, but they're pretty narrow. I just use mine to cart lumber and gear around, but got a chance to tow something big today. I figured pulling heavy shit up a steep hill and over this weird 10" lip to get into this barn would play to its strengths, and yeah, it did. Easy peasy.
