This just gave me chills

Wow, one of the few comments on Lemmy I agree with 100%!

For me for instance it is to type it in with a rhythm or only with my middle fingers.

Hey everyone

I’m planning to buy a gift for a friend who is a huge Jujutsu Kaisen fan. He’s been dying to see the Mahoraga fight fully finished, especially since he mentioned how the first published version felt rushed due to the animators being in a hurry.

I want to get him the Blu-ray that includes the complete and polished version of that fight, but I’m not sure which volume I should buy. Can anyone help me out with which Blu-ray volume features the Mahoraga fight in its best form?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Remove Bluesky and add Lemmy.

TotK isn't as freeing. At my first blind playthrough, I casually went for the wind temple just to find out that you need a quest to go there and have a bird NPC character to always follow you that is just in your way, but you need it to complete the game and advance. In BotW. I could just head for Vah Medoh, complete it and then head to the gerudo village.

Edit: The underground is just really empty, and the sky has a few islands, which is kind of disappointing since I've waited at least 5 years for the sequel.

I've tried sable, but It's a little too calm for me. I maybe haven't played enough, but I think this just isn't my game. Correct me if I'm wrong, but thanks for the suggestion.

After Watching the Trailer, it gave me some Firewatch Vibes. The story seems very interesting. I think I will give it a try. Thanks.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 5 months ago

The Trailer does look promising, but after seeing Gameplay footage it looks kinda boring. I'm not that into turn based games, in fact, the one and only turn-based Game I've liked is UNDERTALE. Thanks.

I actually played No Man's Sky at launch, and honestly I didn't think that it was such a disaster. But I haven't played recently but I will pick it up again.

I've enjoyed watching YouTube Videos about Project Zomboid, so I think I will like it. Thanks.

As I said in other comments, I think RDR2 won't be a game I will play in a long time, since it seems to me that it is like a movie, not really a Game.

GTA V isn't really a game I like. It's somewhat boring for me, since you can do almost anything.

The Call of Duty Games look cool, but I'm unsure about the whole franchise. I think it could be excellent, but the whole franchise is somehow unsympathetic for me.

I'm currently looking at the tags of Metro Exodus, which has been on my list for a long time, and I've noticed that it has the "horror" tag. Are the horror elements a key part of the game like Jump scares or anything like that? I don't like being scared, but if it's not a key part, I might consider it.

Thanks for your Recommendations.

Outer wilds does sound like a really fun game. Thanks.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 5 months ago

Prey looks great, and I think I will like it very much. Judging from the Steam review's it's very versatile which I like.

Watch Dogs 2 Also looks very cool. The story peek from the Trailers looks like it matches with my overall interests. The trailer really hooked me, but I'm still looking through other suggestions, thanks.

I have bought Cyberpunk right after Release, but then after watching some reviews, it just waited in my Drawer (physical copy). Because of that mishap from CD Projekt Red, I’m a little hesitant on that. I know that the patch is out, but I somehow not ready to play it yet.

Control seems promising, but I feel like the story is Whack. Guessing by the name, it seems like I can control everything, so that has some appeal.

Alan Wake 2 seems interesting, but not as compelling as Prey or Watch Dogs 2.

Just played through it, nice and cute little game. Thanks.

Hello everyone

I recently upgraded my PC and I'm excited to explore new games that can take advantage of my improved hardware. Previously, my old PC was limited, and I had to be selective about the games I played. I also have a Steam Deck, but I'm looking for offline single-player experiences on my PC.

I'm looking for games that offer an unforgettable experience and high replay value. I enjoy open-world games that give me the freedom to explore, similar to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I know it's not a PC game, but it gives you an idea of my playstyle.

Here are some games I've enjoyed in the past:

• The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - My favorite game, I love the freedom to explore without being bound to quests.

• Far Cry 3 - Great open-world experience that didn't get boring.

• NieR: Automata - Engaging story, but it got a bit repetitive.

• Scarlet Nexus - Great story, high replay value, and a beautiful world, although it can be repetitive.

• ULTRAKILL - Challenging and high replay value.

• Portal 2 - High replay value.

• Portal 1 - Enjoyed it, but didn't love it.

• Subnautica - Absolutely loved it.

• The Witcher 3 - Didn't enjoy it, but I'm giving it another try soon.

• Doom Eternal - Liked it.

• Horizon Zero Dawn - It's an average game, with a mid-story and a beautiful world.

For me, a good story is often the top priority, but I also enjoy games like Breath of the Wild where I can relax and play without thinking too hard.

If you're curious about my specs, here they are:

New PC:

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D 16-Core

• GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX

• RAM: 64GB DDR5 Memory

Old PC: • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB

• CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K @ 3.50GHz

• RAM: 4GB DDR3 Memory

I'd appreciate any game recommendations that fit my preferences.

Edit: Thanks already for the recommendations, I might also add, that I love the Halo games. Except the newer ones.

Hey folks

I’ve been using Crunchyroll regularly for a couple of months with a paid membership, but I ran into some serious playback issues after a recent update. I reached out to their support, and they said a fix would be in the next update, but that didn’t help at all. After dealing with the problems for a while, I ended up canceling my membership since I couldn’t enjoy the service anymore.

I’m on a FairPhone 4 running Lineage OS 21, and while I don’t have other streaming apps to test, YouTube and NewPipe are working fine. I’ve tried other players like AniLab, but I’d rather pay for the content I love.

I also checked the LineageOS settings for anything related to DRM content, but I couldn’t find anything.

Has anyone else faced similar issues or found a workaround? I’d really appreciate any tips or advice! Thanks!

For me, it was that the Internet never forgets and that you should never enter your real name. In my opinion, both of these rules are now completely ignored.

Hey everyone!

I’m looking for some casual games to play while I’m on a call with a friend. I want something super chill that doesn’t require too much focus or brainpower. I’ve tried Shapez.io, but it felt a bit too complex for what I’m looking for. Minecraft vanilla survival is also a no-go since it demands a bit more attention than I want to give right now.

Any recommendations for games that are easy to pick up and play, where I can just relax and enjoy the conversation without getting too caught up in the gameplay?

Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone

So I have a rather unusual fear of butterflies and a fear of darkness. The first one is definitely the fear that has confused lots of people in my life. I can't explain it, for some reason I am just afraid of them. If one even comes near me, I completely freak out. The latter is a rather childish fear of mine. I don't know why I'm afraid of the darkness specifically, but I know that I can't stand it.

So what are your fears?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently facing some frustrating restrictions with the public Wi-Fi at my school. It's an open Wi-Fi network without a password, but the school has implemented a firewall (Fortinet) that blocks access to certain websites and services, including VPNs like Mullvad and ProtonVPN. This makes it difficult for me to maintain my privacy online, especially since I don't want the school to monitor me excessively.

After uninstalling Mullvad, I tried to download it again, but I found that even a search engine (Startpage) is blocked, which is incredibly frustrating! Here’s what happened:

  • The Wi-Fi stopped working when I had the VPN enabled.
  • I disabled the VPN, but still couldn't connect.
  • I forgot the Wi-Fi network and reset the driver, but still no luck.
  • I uninstalled the Mullvad, and then the Wi-Fi worked again.
  • I tried to access Startpage to search for an up-to-date package for Mullvad, but it was blocked.
  • I used my phone to get the software file and sent it over, but couldn't connect.
  • I searched for different VPNs using DuckDuckGo, but the whole site was blocked.
  • I tried searching for Mullvad, but that was blocked too.
  • I attempted to use Tor with various bridges, but couldn't connect for some unknown reason.
  • I finally settled for Onionfruit Connect, but it doesn't have a kill switch, which makes me uneasy.

Ironically, websites that could be considered harmful, like adult content, gambling sites and online gaming sites, are still accessible, while privacy-tools are blocked.

I'm looking for advice on how to bypass these firewall restrictions while ensuring my online safety and privacy. Any suggestions or alternative methods would be greatly appreciated! (If any advice is something about Linux, it could be a Problem, since my school enforces Windows 11 only PC's which is really really igngamblingThanks in advance for your help

edit: did some formatting

edit2: It is my device, which I own and bought with my own money. I also have gotten in trouble for connecting to tor and searching for tor, but I stated that I only used it to protect my privacy. Honestly I will do everything to protect my privacy so I don't care if I will get in trouble.

edit 3: Thanks for the suggestions, if I haven't responded yet, that's because I don't know what will happen.

Hello Everybody I've been encountering a recent occurred Problem with my installation of Debian 12. When I plug in my Phone (Fairphone 4) to transfer some large files, it won't get recognized, which is odd because I do this every few Weeks and since a couple of months this keeps happening. It will something like:

Malformed URL mtp:udi=/org/kde/solid/udev/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:14.0/usb2/2-7/.

Or

Unable to open MTP device "002,086".

I've installed gMTP, but that won't recognize my devices either. I also tried to manually go to the media and mnt directory but found nothing. Likewise, I switched cables, Phones and USB Ports.

At first, I thought it was a Dolphin issue because when I switched to the Thunar File Manager everything seemed to be flawless, but now it's even occurring on Thunar.

These are my Specs if it helps.

  • OS: Debian 12 bookworm
  • Kernel: x86_64 Linux 6.1.0-21-amd64
  • DE: KDE 5.103.0 / Plasma 5.27.5
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 @ 8x 4GHz
  • GPU: GeForce 720

Any Comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hey everyone,

I'm facing an issue with KDE Plasma 5 on Debian 12. Whenever I skip a song on Spotify, the notification sound plays. I've come across suggestions in other forums to simply mute notifications, but I still want to receive notifications. Therefore, muting notifications is not an option for me.

I have disabled all Spotify notifications in the notification manager, yet I'm unsure how the sound still persists. I don't want to disable notification sounds in the Plasma Workspace, as mentioned earlier.

Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
