I was working out how to reply without saying we’re ‘dehumanising’ animals, but apparently even the language we use dismisses other animals in that way.

Same here, I was curious so looked it up. Apparently it’s still got plenty of bugs and a lot of debate going on on how many hackers there are, some say a lot. General stance is it’s better on unofficial servers.

If these findings are true it would require the lab leak to have spread to the market and not really anywhere else, which is a fair bit less likely than originating from the market.
It's possible, but when you hear hoofbeats, think horses not zebras.

Personally I think things have changed for the better, I’ve been waiting for a Reddit alternative for years and only found kbin through the blackout. Seems we’ve got sustainable numbers and a decent community.
A small win but still a win.

Russia pulled out of WW1 because the Bolsheviks successfully took power and didn’t want to fight. Let’s hope history repeats itself.
