Its called an essay. You take primary and secondary sources, and then weave them together with arguments to persuade a point. You also provide all your sources so people can fact check your assertions based on the facts you've provided. Typically you need to read/listen to the essay. Then if you find their arguments unpersuasive, or fishy you check their sources and reply (you don't literally have to, it can be just for yourself) using their own sources against them, or your own sources and arguments that dispute their claims. Its the essence of critical thinking, genius.

Its like how people whatabout with Sudan, as though Western governments are in full bore support of either faction, and voicing displeasure for the genocide will somehow have a negative consequences if you're a public figure.

I thought that line was the rebels using Cyril's perceived hatred of the ISB to gaslight him into thinking that by helping them, he is actually helping the Empire. There are probably rebels who hate the Empire, but love the Emperor though, lol.

I feel like the VP was a mix of every prominent US foreign policy ghoul (Bush 1 and 2, Cheney, Kissinger, Biden, Reagan, Nixon, I'm sure there are others), you could include Netanyahu as well. The Americans just fucking suck, they get zero redeeming qualities.

It's also about normalizing being ace, and making it more widely known that ace people exist so when non-ace people encounter ace people they're understanding and accepting rather than dismissive. Something that JKR clearly has an issue with.
