There is no one to blame but Putin.
This is an emergency procedure due to Russia's invasion in Ukraine. Without the invasion, the backup coal plants would just stay backup. As coal plants need weeks to start up, they cannot just be turned on when needed. They need to be turned on early and likely run with low power through the winter, just in case they might be needed. This is bad too. This is due to Putin's war.
It's silly to make connections to the 1986 & 2011 nuclear exit, when the cause for this short-term measure is a recent event. Without Russia invading Ukraine, the coal plants would stay off.
Oh right that portal! I totally forgot about that detail. Have we ever seen something like that in One Piece before?
I mean the world has no magic, so it could be some demon portal fruit ability or maybe technology from Egghead? But it has the number 5 in it on the ground. So there are others for the 5 Elders? Then it wouldn't be his fruit ability with a number 5. Vegapunk's inventions often have numbers on them. So some Stargate network the Elders can use? A platform on the the ship? Some personal tunnel transport device? Vega-hole 05?
That will be interesting to see, how Oda made that happen.
From Redon's chapter spoiler:
She could very well be required alive due to her relation to Kuma, but also her ability to manipulate age. Law was also wanted for his ability to extend life. So as you're saying she won't die there.
Now that Saturn appeared, all Pacifista, but also all the Serahim are under control. Plus that ancient monster is on the stage and Luffy just went old requiring to regenerate.
Everything made a u-turn, so everything seems possible for next chapter next week (no break!).
He seems to be this one
"The Ushi-Oni (牛鬼, Ox Oni (demon)), or gyūki, is a yōkai from the folklore of western Japan.[1] The folklore describes more than one kind of ushi-oni, but the depiction of a bovine-headed monster occurs in most. Ushi-oni generally appear on beaches and attack people who walk there." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ushi-oni
So highly likely all the Elders are some mythological ancient gods and demons with their awakened fruits.
Every data gets even paid twice. The sender has an internet service contract and pays, the receiver does as well.
You opening some Lemmy post and requesting data, has the server owner pay via his hoster contract and you pay for the same data packet via your ISP monthly fee.
Now they are asking for a 3rd payment (once again). Why even stop at 3? Just ask for 4 or 5 payments and then meet in the middle at 3.
Pretty misleading headline - yet not false. From the article:
A pedestrian crossing a San Francisco street on Monday night was hospitalized in critical condition after she was hit by two cars — first a regular vehicle which hurled her into the path of a driverless taxi
The driver fled the scene that hit the woman at the pedestrian crossing. Due to the impact, she landed right in front of a (driverless) vehicle on the other lane.
Is she maybe lecturing in Hungary? Enabling new generations to do great on the international stage by lecturing would imo even be better than just paying taxes in Hungary.
She received her PhD from Szeged’s University in 1982 and performed postdoctoral research at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in Szeged until 1985.
Since 2021, she has been a Professor at Szeged University

In the 1st step, maybe a year ago or so, they updated the Kasa app (v 3?) to only function with account and while being logged in at TP-Link servers to use your devices. And in now the 2nd step, they integrate Kasa into Tapo, which was always account-bound. The 3rd step is then probably the discontinuation of the Kasa app.
Kasa was their more premium product line, that was usable without internet connection and without manufacturer account - which is why I paid more to get those instead of the cheap Tapo products. But now my 'smart' power outlets are in a box in the basement collecting dust and I cannot recommend anyone to spend money on TP-Link smart products, as they remove features after sale.
I'd totally pay 65€ per year to watch the races! Unfortunately, the F1TV product is not available for me due to exclusive broadcasting rights by Sky. And they don't have a F1 subscription, but only multi-sport-bundle at 28€ per month.
