Well she might have genocidal policies on Gaza, Iran, China, North Korea, the entire Global South, and the planet itself vis a vis Climate Change, but surely Kamala Harris has a good response to covid's impact on people domestically, right?

That's fair. You have a pretty decent grasp of the storyline.

Then again, it's hard saying what would be a realistic societal reaction and what wouldn't be. Like how batman only beats up bad guys who deserve it 100% of the time and the cops in the setting are either overwhelmed and well-meaning or just flat out corrupt.

And yeah, either way, being a normie in a comics setting is a terrible proposition. One reality warper or time traveler and you rethink your entire place in the universe.

Oooh time to bring out this chestnut of a question - were you pro registration during the Civil War arc?

Magneto, but he's not a bad guy.

Second choice maybe... Taskmaster? He doesn't do really terrible things, he has decent powers and doesn't seem to draw the ire of folks like Punisher.

But this is the same universe where you can get hit with gamma radiation and punch the planet in half. But that doesn't get the same level of dehumanization as mutants who time and time again have their attempts to live away from humanity ruined, sometimes even by sentinels.

I've rewritten headcanon so I could enjoy an unproblematic version of him. His backstory is a lot more interesting than Wolverine's, tortured and ageless, but also visibly a mutant.

Lol fuck destination weddings. One of my best friends had theirs at a vineyard in a swanky part of a neighboring city and i didn't have to pay a dime.

I'm sorry you had that experience though. That's really shitty.

I cut off a friend who kept pressuring me to visit him in another city, seeming to ignore my issues with my car and the hassle of parking/ driving. The last straw was sending a venmo request for an outing he begged me to stay for after already twisting my arm with the visit itself.

If that person can't acknowledge your material conditions, they're not your friend.

And you know they'd give you shit if you didn't bring an adequately expensive gift.

As if climate change, a genocide, and a collapsed economy aren't enough of a legacy for future generations.

I feel so bad for the children we've failed.
