It's weird to see regular customers at my workplace changing up their masking habits. Like if the news reports an upsurge or something, they'll wear a mask, usually with their nose exposed. Like they just refuse to understand the initial premise of masking - that it was to protect others from you first.

It just pisses me off seeing customers in my field coming in for this completely unnecessary service, occasionally get concerned for their own health, and then put on a mask to protect themselves.

I love Laios, I really do, but he's the last person to be giving a lecture like that. At least according to his trajectory as a character. He's not invested in the politics of the world and hasn't done the level of research Marcille has. It just feels off.

I hate fiction where magic is considered too dangerous to solve systemic problems. Like it's an antagonistic force in the world that's only good for warfare. It's a natural force in most settings, making the mistrust seem so strange.

Like in this setting, the mad mage made mistakes, but they want to throw it all out.

Lmao there are two queer couples who are recurring characters.

These viewers are so fragile.

The movies are just so badly conceived that I cannot believe it enough to suspend my disbelief.

I'm kinda going in a lot of directions with this, but it sucks seeing sonic okay with the status quo.

One of the earliest features in his games was that he saved animals. Up until sonic adventure 2, sonic would free animals because that was his thing. He dismantled drilling operations and factories. He actively fought a guy who exploited nature for bullshit self interest.

But they present a version of Sonic who could enter our world and not have a problem with it.

I hated that they made him best buddies with a cop.

They created an alternate universe where the cops are so kindhearted that James Marsden's character is considered an average cop.

The guy's sister in law is portrayed as hating him for no good reason. She's Black and her sister married a cop in fucking small town Montana.

Sonic would fucking hate the US. He'd see how fucked up we are to animals. Sonic would immediately start a leftist revolution. Imagine how dope that would be for a Sonic game.

But no, gotta have the Sonic who stands for the flag and doesn't care where his chili dogs come from.

I admit I didn't read the article when I should have, but it just blows that animals acting entirely within their nature have to suffer and die because of human carelessness. It's really hard to accept there isn't a better way.

I still mean what i said that with $29 million dollars we could find a more humane and ecologically-aware solution. Logistically speaking, I can't think of one right now, but we're smart. I have to believe that we could solve something like this without hurting anyone.

I get that it isn't feasible now and that a plan like is likely to cause less harm in the long run, but it still sucks, you know?
