This is the first year I've ever seen this done. I saw the republican version posted on here today, and I've seen ads with this same threat in my area.
But I think the larger part is that they actually like that voting is optional, because doing it signals moral superiority and gives them something to chastise the selfish and apathetic over.
Yes! That is the main thing libs get from engaging in politics. No one recieves anything material from engaging in politics in the US, libs and chuds aren't even operating under the idea that such a thing is possible. Chuds get to own the libs, and libs get to feel morally superior
I can't imagine ever yelling at a server. It's the most ridiculous thing to do. Hopefully that may die out with boomers. Especially since so many people now have to be underemployed in the service industry if they're lucky
