I would guess we humans just dont really have the same instinctual fear of these type of things as we do for say getting stuck in a tight space, there is no reason for nature to reinforce that. Of course once the bombs start dropping and you see people getting hurt and buildings destroyed, then you connect it with danger.

There has been a ramping on Anti-China sentiment recently, or maybe thats just anecdotal, but several of my lib friends have been saying crazy things about china. The wildest thing I heard is that china sells babies, or does mass child labor 0_0

I think I might have an issue, this cant be normal right?

Every time a car passes by my window I want to scream because the noise disrupts my concentration. It's seriously tiring me out, they're not even loud or something like that.

It's the same with other noises but cars in particular (cause they pass by every 20 minutes). Its not something that would normally bother me this much :/
