Knew an RD who worked with a lot of Southern rural patients.

She would have to unironically tell them to just not eat anything they didn't hit themselves

Whatever happened to internet etiquette?
You (or the person commissioning the book) ask before you do this kinda thing!

Etsy is supposed to carry the torch for that kinda small community vibe of mature adults making money from their side business.

These folks deserve to get a bit flamed, because this feels like 2009 drama we should have collectively figured out forever ago

With Final Fantasy Restored. Its definitely worth revisiting old favorites with As Intended/QoL updates.

But I can see why they are hesitant to replay the original as is, because it can be a bit rough.
Yet so charming. And its hard to keep one without losing the other in the rereleases

Arena is actually way more interesting than people give it credit for.

One of the most fascinating parts, and IMO one of the greatest lost features to the entire series, is that it had Terraforming.

Since the world was kinda on a grid/cell system, you could cast spells to make pits or walls, which was kinda simple for the time, but just think about it- as a strong enough spellcaster, its a viable strategy to create a pit all the way to the magma layer to avoid a martial opponent, and just sling spells at them.

Imagine if that popped in TES VI! Friggin Earthbend and yeet that Dark Brotherhood assassin to one of the moons

I just want a phone designed to make spoken word more audible in noisy environments, so I don't have to use some sketchy app when I'm trying to hear a poorly balanced podcast over the stove fan while cooking.

This just sounds like q feature that I've literally never seen anyone ask for outside of that or movies, basically

I choose to try not to pirate, and thus this kinda thing absolutely pisses me off because this is so disingenuous, because I dig into the nitty gritty of how to do all this stuff legit.

Randomizers alone make Nintendo games in particular so much more alive, and all but require the use of ripping software and quite often emulators.
These emulators can make even current titles look even more beautiful and play more smoothly than their native platform, too.

Yeah, people are going to pirate using this stuff, but its wrong to treating the tools themselves as being inherently bad. They are quite often used by people who care very much about these games, and do give fair financial support to Nintendo.

Can you take that last part, put it to a cool font, add some vaporwave and a filter, and make it the stylings of an Cyberpunk 80s movie?

With a bit of rewording, it would be rad for a pixel indie game or something. It goes hard.

And its uncomfortable so I want it in a more palatable form lol

"Keep Circulating the Tapes" of the current era

I mean, I know you're looking for piracy sources, but the 3D printing sphere is pretty much full of tech hippies.

This may go against the spirit of this server and all, but if you're just looking to print for personal use, there's a very real possibility that you can just ask.

I've hit up a few people before, stating that I wanted to print their STLs for my own personal use and sometimes they said no, but more than half the time, they just let me have it.

Usually something like:

"Hey, your project looks really great! I've been on a bit of a tight budget lately, but I do have my old printer and some filament lying around- would it be possible to get a copy of your STL files pro bono?
I would love to get my hands on it, and will definitely post a make to your page!"
(It definitely helps if you have some quality finished product images, so you're kinda free advertising for them)

I don't make the personal choice to pirate, (and I'm not here to judge) but I figured my kinda approach still may suit your needs.

Yes, with extra steps lol

Why do people not put the Zora in their D&D campaigns?
They put all kinds of other stuff straight from other IPs. False Hydra visually ripped straight from Dead Hand art at first.

Just Borrow them and call them some kind of Fish Elves if you must, because that's basically what they are.

I like My Little Pony.

I liked the Generation 5 Movie- they made legitimately good characters.

But I don't know why I made myself watch the G5 CGI TV show. I think I've been pretty blue with some health stuff and disability making me feel hopeless, so I needed something to beat me over the head with sunshine and rainbows.

But boy, was it painful to watch. Its clear that everyone actually cares, from writers to animators to the music cast, but they're so damn rushed, the animations felt like keyframes with autogenerated in-betweens. (One character literally has NO EARS because they weren't afforded time to correct reference sheets!!!)

But the worst part is that the entire pitch of Generation 5 was basically "Something went wrong in the time after Twilight Sparkle and her friends. (the previous series' protagonists) And we have to fix it."

...And then they never explained what went wrong. But because the writers haven't inspired confidence outside of individual character writing, its probably an embarrassingly bad reason, so maybe it was actually good it got cancelled?

The narratives have the bones of good plots, but needed a real writer's room and, like, five more drafts.
I'd like to write picture books one day, so I like critiquing this kind of thing, and it hurts me how basically every script could have been as good as a good episode of an older My Little Pony show with some time.

So then, presumably knowing they're getting cancelled, they rush to defeat the main antagonist in a pretty unsatisfying way... (And... I think she fuckin' died??? In this more juvenile followup to Friendship is Magic???)

And then, because they have toy quotas to meet, they spend the runtime of an entire special- the very last thing they produced for the CG series -off in a winter wonderland, instead of using that to better resolve the final conflict.

It was really cute, honestly. Got my quota of "Sunshine and Rainbows" met, and had some of the best everything in the series. But I really should have just watched this and some classic 80s MLP and been done.

I mean, just look at that, its just so damn pleasant and adorable and happy, and colorful, but in a way that doesn't make your eyes bleed. The animation is legitimately good, and the song is a pleasant tune that isn't going to ruin your day if it gets in your head.

...Except even this adorable, very classically MLP snowy romp still (completely pointlessly) evokes the time in G4 where that one character had a legitimate cult and then caused the apocalypse like a dozen times because it just can't shake the shadow of its predecessor.

Why did I do this to myself?

I should have stopped watching when the animation of the first season was literally making my toes curl.
