Are there any events that you refuse to miss that are not scheduled by you? Movies, TV shows, concerts or something similar?
Try to think of family events in the same way. Give yourself permission to disrupt your normal schedule in the same way you would for a special one-time event. If you try it and your anxiety level doesn't improve, you can always go back to dwelling on it to the point of dreading.
The bigger question is this: How much energy would be required to collect and sequester 101% of daily carbon emissions?
I think it absolutely should be done, but getting there will be a huge undertaking and we will need creative solutions to get there without contributing to the problem.

Maybe you could spray them with a little silver or gold cake paint? It's made specifically for spraying on food and gives it a metallic color. Probably would wear off in a day or two, but won't hurt the snakes.

At first it was cost. Android phones and tablets were (and mostly still are) less expensive. Now that I have used both, I very much prefer Android devices.
For most people I'm sure the difference is negligible or maybe they even find Apple devices easier to use. For me iOS has always been a struggle between what I want to do and what the software requires before it will do it. Although Android devices are not as open as they once were, they are far more customizable than the iPhone.
Imagine that someone has made a false accusation about you and it becomes part of your online profile.
Within less than a day, maybe even before you aware of the claim, every major online database has marked you as being something that you are not.
Who do you call to correct it?
Will a correction fix it?
Will the false information even get deleted?
When you don't control the data, you are always vulnerable.
