This is Bullshit! All done by The Tories to make the Labour government look bad. There was an inquiry into Grooming Gangs already. It took 7 years and cost the Tax Payer 200 Million pounds. The Judge Responsible for reviewing the findings of the inquiry recommended 20 and specific laws that should be implemented as soon as possible. MP’s were in The House about to sign those recommendations into Law and they were vetoed by the leader of the Conservatives. She got up in parliament and started manufacturing false concern that “the inquiry did not go far enough.” Why is Keir Starmer refusing to answer the demands of the Public? All to obstruct the desperately needed social progress, because that would make their opposition look good.

Starmer, who was one of the main judiciary responsible for breaking the case of the grooming gangs and responsible for the prosecutions of the men involved, shot her down immediately. Then the Papers and the rage-bait articles all went with the headlines “Keir Starmer doesn’t care about grooming gangs, refuses demand for deeper inquiry” This is why the British Public need to wake up to the fact that Rupert Murdoch owns you. Look how they brutally character assassinated Jeremy Corbyn. Look at the way the right wing obstruct changes that would protect and ease deep seated unrest in the country. Jimmy The Giant has a great video that brings it up in detail.

Open Street Maps, or any fork from it. You can also purchase a modern road atlas for basically nothing. Alternatively, people do make navigation units for cars, that you can purchase. Life is completely possible, with relatively little inconvenience if you want to separate yourself from Big Tech. I write down the directions and just follow street signs. You don't want to rely on things like GPS, because it destroys your ability to commit identifying markers to memory. You can glance at the screen and glance at the road in front of you. But that stops you from being able to commit the experience from memory. Smart Tech and the offloading of our mental faculties to technology has made all of us

  1. Way too overconfident in our ability to comprehend, review and parse information.

  2. Decimated our attention spans and will most likely see a whole new type of cognitive decline.

Sorry for the tangent. But yeah, there's options there. With or without the tech.

Horse. You well off, Dad's got a bit of land? Then you can have a horse. Nine of yous, living in a caravan with your Mum? Then you can have a horse. Grow up in a semi-detached? No horse for you!

Congratulations, changes your life, driving does.

  1. Change all your fluids, Oil + filter, flush the radiator, do a 4x drain and fill on the transmission. So, drain the pan, fill with new fluid equivalent to what's come out. Take her for a spin, get it warmed up. Drain and fill again. By the time you do this 4 times, you should have basically all brand new fluid in it.

  2. Replace the cabin and engine air filters.

  3. Buy a floor jack, always have a scissor jack in the back along with the spare. But keep a floor jack and a set of stands at home for when you need to work at home.

  4. Do easy jobs yourself, firstly gaskets and seals as well. Valve cover gasket replacement kit is an easy job. You'll get a look at the valves then and you can see if you need to do a little engine flush. PCV valve can make a big difference too and that's usually very simple to get to.

  5. Get someone who isn't mechanic looking to make a few quid about the state of your brakes. Pads and rotors are easy peasy stuff.

  6. Buy a code reader, a decent one, or any bluetooth one that will let you read live data from the ecu. You probably won't need it now, but as you learn more your car and common issues, you'll want one to be able to give you a clue about why something is happening.

  7. Get underneath and check the bushings on suspension parts, lower control arms, trailing arms. That stuff just goes one day. But, if you see a bushing is starting to tear, or seize. you can find the replacement part and avoid being stranded.

  8. Because you're in the UK, get a few rebuild kits for alternators and a/c compressors. They are BIG TICKET items and they will fail on a 20 year old car. You can follow a guide to rebuilding them, replace brushes and seals and you'll save yourself £££££.

  9. Look up community formus (not reddit) for your car specifically. They can be a big help in finding common issues and answering questions about maintenance and upgrades.

  10. Check out Chris Fix's youtube channel, he's got very comprehensive guides from beginner stuff up to replacing internal engine components. Would recommend as someone who learned how to fix their car using Youtube.

Almost like there's a market for people who want to consume the single most popular (still largely in many places) illicit substance in the world. Crazy.

It's actually a name. Pajeet is a genuine Hindu name. It's a pejorative, in the same way "Paddy" is both an Irish name and used as a slur for Irish people.

Grifters gotta grift

This fucked with me a bit. Al Jazeera have 15million subscribers. Even less than two years ago, they had videos getting tens of millions of views. Now, everything has dropped off a cliff since then. Most of it sits around 5-15k, but the shit about JD Vance, or Israel, or Big Tech? 1.6k, 1.9k. There's outliers, stuff the mainstream media is talking about international students under Trump, that's got 57k. But I'm terrified to say we're watching the suppression of independent media, right in front of us. Holy fucking shit.

My mother fell down the stairs on Friday and experienced acute subdural hematoma presenting with uncal herniation. She has alcohol use disorder and this made the the tear that much worse. She was given a craniotomy and had the blood drained and has been in a medically induced coma since then. Doctors are not optimistic. My Dad, just retired. She was talking about getting a new dog. She turned 62 at the start of last month, I will be 31 at the beginning of the next. It's easy to get swept up in the world right now. Remember the impermanence of the ones you love and yourself. We've got less time than we think.
