It wasn't just used on the vehicles that you could see in grainy war footage. It has been widely used in both pro and anti russian demonstrations for the last 3 years as a symbol for the war. How about instead of instantly assuming that someone you disagree with is inherently wrong about everything and trying to clown on them you look it up?

At worst this is just an example of the "oh, you think posting about milk is racist" smuglord shit. It isn't really a subtle symbol at all, it is at about the same level as using watermelons for Palestine.

Far less offensive than comparing the Soviet Union to the Nazis.

Sometimes I wonder if it is people just being willfully obtuse. Like, a random twitter user not getting it I understand, but given the absolute shitton of posts about the war on here you'd think people would recognize it.

I think it is novel because of how French it is if nothing else. No other culture could have created this game.

Esquie might be the most French character ever created.

It is called the United States Congress.

The reason that China wouldn’t make it to America is because there are no passage winds like there are over the Atlantic and the entire trade system was built around the monsoon system in the Indian Ocean (so the ships were built for that rather than passage winds like European ones).

Polynesians did manage to get across to the Americas, but there is far less pressure to find trade routes when you are at the center of a seaborne trade system that spans from East Africa to Oceania. Getting direct access to that market is the major reason for Europeans creating ocean faring vessels. And China did try establishing more direct control, (Zheng He and his expeditions for example) but it was simply not profitable.

He had a couple of middle school girls on and decided to ask them about their internet porn habits.

What is it with this game and characters being surprised by someone not being a complete sadist. Like, Shadowheart does this too if you open her pod on the squid ship "It would have been easy for you to just walk past..." In what universe does the average person find it easy to leave someone to die? The Forgotten Realms apparently.

The vast majority of Underdark denizens are bastards and Shadowheart is from an ontologically evil cult. Neither are filled with average people.

The likely explanation is that the playtesters are now used to Death Stranding mechanics since Death Stranding already exists. I remember there being a lot of people who thought Demons Souls and Dark Souls 1 were bad because they weren't used to the mechanics, and now Elden Ring has sold over 30 million copies to almost universal acclaim.

Watched Murderbot diaries with my partner and I surprised how much I empathise with Murderbot seeing as I do event jobs for an art collective that couldn’t manage their way out of a wet paper bag. I kind of passively witness all the interpersonal drama, they keep trying to get me to be more in touch with my spirit or whatever and I have to make sure they don’t hurt themselves as they build rickety ass contraptions with loose wiring and shit. I am also terrible at eye contact.

Kind of surprised they didn’t do Javier, but I guess he was in RDR1, so he is exempt.

EU4 is in a pretty good place, all the DLC since Leviathan has been good, and Leviathan was patched into a pretty good state after a while.
