Well, misogyny is pretty fundamental to capitalism, and therefore the US. The only spin the media is making is that misogyny is some special conservative problem and not a liberal problem too.

Nothing would get me more excited than a communist vanguard party taking serious action, but in the US I don't plan on holding my breath waiting for it.

I would guess the two of them to be extremely close on the political spectrum, and it's still unusually rare for a woman to run for POTUS. Everything seems to line up here.
