Also, tangled knots happen in space. What kind of space can time get tangled within?

Now that's another fun question! It also makes me wonder, how would space behave in tangly time?

Would the space in which time gets tangled be primarily around extreme phenomena like black holes, or the very beginnings of the universe (or a universe, if one wants to get into multiverse angles)?

True! It is intentionally insufficiently defined to inspire and encourage imaginative replies!

But what if you witnessed your knot while a knot?

You don't think if time bent on itself you might be able to see events from before or after happening out of sequence around you?

Is removing swords from inside one's body detrimental or beneficial in this situation?

Appreciate the advice for finding groups! However, my question is more about getting them started and handling outreach to keep them going.

This does provide some insight into some venues that may be good for them, so thanks!

Is it possible this is a case of Spider-Man pointing at Spider-Man, given the history of the FBI (and other U.S. intelligence agencies)?

To clarify, by news sources I mean this in broad terms, so from wherever you may get info about what's going on around you, or the world in general.

What's NN sampling?

Thanks for yours and @[email protected]'s deep dive into this!

You don't like having it duck you over when you're really trying to duck? 😜

There's presently [email protected] and [email protected], but both have low activity and appear to be unmoderated. Removing communities is probably reserved as a last resort, and seeking some moderators may be preferable, so I thought I might ask about'em to raise some attention.

These are the kinds of communities that could get pretty rough if left in their current unattended state, I think.

Brogue's a more up to date spin on the classic game Rogue, with some slight modern touches to make it more approachable to newcomers while keeping to the spirit of the original.

By novel I mean not emulating an existing popular platform, e.g. Lemmy-Reddit, Mastodon-Twitter, etc.

Would pillow fort engineering become a more serious field?

Emphasis on individual online space, so not a forum/federated platform, more like maybe a blog or portfolio or anything else more experimental. Suppose the full gamut of tech familiarity from unfamiliar to familiar.

Original Title:
What advice and cautionary tales would you give on setting up one's own individual online space with today's tools?

You see this with some apps (I think ReVanced is a popular example?) and games occasionally, and I've never been clear on how they do it.

I'll read long posts in either format, but the fragmented format of chained microblog posts, or threads, is mildly distracting at times.
