My ideal Duke nukem plot would basically just be some hypermasculine caricature that starts a normal day and is faced with increasingly insane excuses for ultraviolence at which he performs exceedingly well.

He's not scared, He's not bored, He's not brooding, He's having a fucking day, and he's all out of bubble gum.

Despite the ever-increasing Gore and violence he never has to say or do anything problematic, just fucking brutally uncompromisingly violence against people that super duper obviously need it.

Comical masculinity instead of toxic masculinity. Nothing even needs to change about his character.

I've seen two this year.

I've seen More bald eagles land in the yard year than I have seen lightning bugs.

If camera phones and the internet were available then they absolutely would have hidden their face, in the beginning at least

I worked at a dental lab once and we had a patient who The doctor said wanted bigger teeth.

Having made teeth for a while, this was a first for everyone in the lab. At some point teeth don't get much bigger. At some point the amount of metal and porcelain were putting into the mouth of this 82-year-old woman is a substantial weight of material not to mention its volume.

When one doctor refused to make any bigger teeth she went to other doctors who required her to pay up front. We got this lady's case back a dozen times.

We've remade this thing from scratch at her expense and she looked downright cartoonish every time we'd get photos back.

The frame for her full arch mandibular implant retained PFM was the single largest cast of gold alloy anyone in the entire lab had ever poured or seen poured for dental work.

Some people have money and they're addicted to the process. I can't think of any other reason for this lady to have done that.

1994 a service called e world.

It was a funny little thing, My 2800 baud modem brought me tons of adventures and gave me a place to share D&D ideas with others.

It's already not legal for ICE to hide their face and ID.

Laws are for poors, queers and browns, not for the red white and blue blooded American patriots

I'm hoping for regime change in Israel too. Really I wish the leadership of both of them to expire in their entirety.

The IDF is turning the civilian population into human shields. Here is to hoping the Israelis can find some shred humanity or responsibility and overthrow their genocidal government before they can expand their aggression even further.

Mass tourism is only a problem if you aren't in the business of catering to tourists.

Seems like the actual problem is wages, staffing, and working conditions. The problem is greed at the top. Big fucking surprise.

I don't understand why they would take a story and then adapt it into a TV series that says the exact opposite.

I see this happen a lot with TV shows where the people who are making the show genuinely don't seem to give a shit about what was in the original work.

I get the impression that people who buy intellectual property rights to existing works actually hate those works and their fans and would like to remove the themes, motifs, and messages of the original work from the common culture altogether.

Gay people still can't get married in Israel right? So these are both awful countries run by awful people. It just so happens that Israel is the aggressor.

One party being bad doesn't make the other party good. If we are lucky every single employed person both governments will suddenly drop dead.

I think a lot of people are glad that Israel is actually attacking somebody who can fight back now instead of more innocent defenseless children in their open air death camp.

In anticipation of the coming wave of censorship, I'd like to develop a list of subversive content that might disappear off of streaming services.

As these services and broadcast networks are removing content from their catalogs, what kinds of things do you think might disappear?

I wonder how granular the censorship will be too, for example, will they start censoring individual episodes of Star Trek?

At what point do you think they're going to come for Mr Rogers neighborhood or Sesame Street?

I couldn't let Donnie stay in the wild because sliders aren't supposed to be here, but he looks really comfortable underneath his jungle of raspberries, basil, and potatoes while he basks on a bed of moss.

They seem to spin some kind of silk everywhere they go. They seem to be no longer than about 4 mm. I noticed them crawling up things and then dropping down on a line of silk. I've started catching them by putting little sticks up in the air attached everywhere that I find them. They tend to gather at the top of the stick for easy rapture by vacuum.
