Ping Pong the Animation is one of my faves! I really loved that they kept the artstyle the same as the manga it's adapted from, it couldn't have been easy but it made the visuals look incredible and totally unique

hell yeah love masaaki yuasa. my favorite thing he's done is inu-oh, which is a great movie. eizouken is another really good show he's worked on
I started watching just now! (I cleared my watch queue and this has been on my list for a while. I really like Masaaki Yuasa's other stuff).
Had to lol when the Chinese player was introduced, his given name is literally 'Cultural Revolution' (文革).
It's shaping up well, looking forward to the rest of it.
