The guys at my school weren't even aware this was a thing. For context, they were putting a cross up for Halloween decorations. I believe it's still up there because they argued it was for cultural education or something?
Death is scary?
The unknown in general is scary to most people
I wonder if the unobservable universe is scary. After all, it's mostly just the same shit we know, we just can't see it because the light where it came from hasn't reached us yet. It doesn't mean that it's pitch black basically.
Dying is scary, because it is often painful.
Death, not so much.
I swear, taxes and rent are scarier than all of these combined.
I'd be more scared of being a non-Christian in the U.S. if the theocrats ever end the separation of church and state. I won't need to worry about taxes and rent while I'm in a "re-education" camp.
