Recently my goto crypto market/broker started promoting TRUMP and it's got me cringing so much that I want to move all my BTC permanently off the platform, but I also don't really dig the idea of local storage since it would be good to have in an emergency if I ever found myself stranded overseas.

I also don't want to liquidate my BTC because idk what currency would be good atm but definitely not USD for obvious reasons.

I've seen that TrustWallet is highly rated, but they're no better since Binance is slurping that fascist mayonnaise hardcore.

I'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions, please leave me a comment.

It's crypto, what did you expect?

You can find Soda, Chips, Shoes, etc made by companies who support Democrats. Should be something like that for Crypto exchanges.

But i guess from Bitpanda is ok. They are from austria and from what I have read they are somewhat ok. They gave some money to the german cdu, csu, fdp and spd, and those parties would allign with the dems in the us (at least somewhat). And I didn't find anything about the ceo sucking trump dick.

It's perfect! And unfortunately restricted in my country!

The whole modern crypto ecosystem is built on the principal of "Money above everything else". It was built by the biggest sociopath assholes imaginable. So of course everything that isn't a very small project is sucking trump dick.

You can trade local currency for global currency and vice versa without being an asshole, I firmly believe.

You can, but this isn't the typical usecase for crypto these days.

Maybe it should be, would be great for working class citizens to have the ability to buy out of their country's failing currency the same way the rich can. I think Zimbabwe is actually among those leading the world in BTC adoption rate because their own capital was destroyed by inflation.

I have no idea of their politics etc so you'd have to look into that for yourself but I have used Atomic Wallet for 6 or 7 years and it has always been decent and the couple of times I have spoken to their support they have been helpful and quick to respond.

May be worth looking into to see if they align with what you want :)

Hmmm. Based in Estonia. Looks like they lost $100M to a hack from North Korea, recently. It's headed by Konstantin Gladych.

Ah, wait, it's got offices in St. Petersberg, so there is a pretty big chance it's a Russian asset. Perhaps the NK hack wasn't even an accident on their part.

Ah, good to know, thanks. I'll have to look into it a little bit more.
