my last girlfriend was pretty clingy before i had to block her. i’m engaged now but she was still telling people i was her boyfriend. it was weird and annoying. clearly staying friends wasn’t working out, so i blocked her.

Yep. Woman I dated in college. After we broke up she found out my class schedule and signed up for the same electives.

The only way I finally got her to leave me alone was to introduce her to the man she's now been married to for 15 years.

Yep, threatened to commit suicide and everything. When I started dating again he found my new SO's social media and said if he kept dating me he would fight him. Thankfully the new SO was a reasonable person and just answered "I don't want to fight you so I'm just going to call the cops."

Sounds like you got a solid upgrade. I'm happy for you.

agreed, the SO sounds so much better

Yes in high school I had a clingy ex that decided to plan all of our relationship out. In a year we would have sex for the first time, our first kid would be named Adelaide (???), we would get married just after high school, and at no point do we ever leave each others sides. Brilliant.

I go away for a week on a family vacation and come back to my MSN FULL of messages wishing I was back. That vacation gave me time to realize I felt like I was suffocating. Told her I think we should split and she spent the next two weeks sobbing in class. She even brought her support cloak and top hat to math class.

All her friends called me a dick and gave me dirty looks. She made YouTube videos sobbing while playing guitar and had a video slideshow of some pictures of us while playing. Her mom called me to tell me off for breaking up with her because now she’s failing her science exam.

She finally starts dating another guy who happens to dress like me and resemble me (same hair style and facial features). They don’t last more than 2 weeks and then she dates another guy who looks even more like me. He finds her crazy and then him and I become friends over a shared crazy ex. I wonder what he’s doing rn.

support cloak and top hat?????

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 days ago

Ya she would wear fedoras and top hats and mismatched shoes and stuff. I considered the cloak a support cloak because I hadn’t seen her wear it.

I wouldn’t call it clingy so much as my ex was a stalker who followed me 1300 miles..

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

oh god, I hope you're not in contact with them

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 days ago

No, not for many years now. This all happened 2008-10. I threatened a restraining order, and claimed I was sending everything to my attorney, including over a year worth of unanswered monthly “still made at me?” type of messages, and never heard from them again.

Several years later I learned they became a felon for sexual assault of another person (idk the person, but it does make keeping tabs on the stalker very easy as they are on the offender registry).

Soon I’ll be moving away from the area entirely and I’ll feel a lot better.

You should fuck her again.

On today's episode of "Horrible ideas in Lemmy comments:" we have this fine specimen!

[–] [email protected] -1 points 4 days ago (1 children)

I'm just going to pretend they were talking about doing his fiance. I hate people in general and trying to change that but messages like that aren't helping.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 4 days ago (2 children)

No I meant they should fuck the ex.

Crazy woman are just fantastic in bed and if she tries to tell the fiancé you can just say she’s problematic.

One of those rare moments when a statement is completely wrong and completely right at the same time.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Which part is the right part?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 days ago (1 children)

The facts of your statement are generally correct. The advice of what to do with that were in another comment, so not reducing the correctness of the comment I was referring to. The advice itself can lead to a very exciting life.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 days ago (1 children)

So than which are the wrong parts?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 4 days ago (1 children)

The recommendations of infidelity, introducing mentally unstable people into your life, lying...

[–] [email protected] 0 points 4 days ago (2 children)

Those are all part of making life worth living.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 days ago

Tru, plus if she's crazy enough fiancé will recognize she nuts and write off the claims.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 days ago

Perhaps. I'm certainly not going to stop you from testing that hypothesis.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 days ago

True but everything else about them is a serious problem that I will not deal with again.
