If you aren't familiar, many have spoken or written about Brown's mental health before and after the vicious dirty hit he suffered from noted dirty player Vontaze Burfict during a game with the Bengals, and TBH, I don't care if it puts a starter out for a whole year, I'm a big believer that the NFL needs to suspend people for a whole-ass season when they play dirty on purpose.

Just one season? One dirty play can have a lifetime of impact on the receiving player.
You make a fair point. It's not like there aren't tens of thousands of people who could have filled Burfict's place, but I don't think the NFLPA would ever let lifetime bans stand.
But Burfict definitely deserved a lifetime ban in my opinion.
