The school board's trustee "agreed that Yao did not break any rules. She cited the OCDSB's own guidelines, which say "slogans or symbols that signal solidarity, such as 'Free Palestine' etc. are permitted so long as they don't violate the code of conduct.".

And the board said that no students were suspended as a result of the speech.

So why is this principal's panties getting all bunched up for? She called Yao and told her not to go to school even though Yao's not suspended? Sounds like a personal intimidation by the principal to me.

So they're saying 1 pick was to take KCP's salary dump. So it's essentially 3 picks and 1 pick swap plus Cole. Which is still a lot.

Assuming a lot of them are immigrants as majority of residents of Toronto are foreign born, this isn't surprising IMO. Most of them come from societies with conservative values or religious values. Credit to them, conservatives have been good at appealing to different visible minority ethnic bases, be it sex education, drugs, taxes, abortion issues etc etc. Liberals and NDP have taken the immigrants for granted assuming their welcoming diversity will market itself.

For most things. I'm sure there'll be carve-outs for his bribers. We'll have to wait for details.

It's a loss IMO. 55% tax on every chinese goods? Price of everyday things are going to rocket. I don't think tariffs were not this high in the pre-world trade agreement era.

This is still too high IMO. What are the carve-outs? EVs? iphones? laptops?
