Are we sure the hedge trimmer was relevant? I'm pretty sure police shoot people for less.
I just made a similar comment a day or few ago: When I was a kid, I honestly would have believed that running with scissors was responsible for millions of childrens' deaths each year based on how much adults brought it up. They hype made it sound like being stabbed in the neck by a kid running with scissors was the number three cause of death in children, just slightly behind marijuana overdoses and LSD stickers.
