So yesterday I got One UI 7 on my A55 and so far it's okay, I didn't notice any performance impact but I did notice that the battery drains faster (prob because of the new animations). I have the 8/256 Exynos model

What about y'all?

Yes. I got it and took less than a minute to fiercly dislike it. Everything became harder.

After upgraded to 7. Let's see what we got ....... Upgrade your phone now! Well. OK. Acceptable. Now let's see. Wow, new icons. It looks like my first Sony now. My transparent clock widget is no longer transperant. Transperant settings now has three levels. No-transperancy, absolute-no-transperancy and guaranteed-no-transperancy. Everything now got a vague little click sound. Most used function: Swipe down. That has now become a full screen for notifications. Notifications are NOT the most important thing in my life. I turn them all off. I need control, but now I must swipe left from notifications to get there. Oh dear god! If I want something to look like an iPhone I buy an iPhone. Hardly any control icons left. All filled with shit I don't use. Now let's see any new apps. Sure enough .... AI ! fuck that! It's like that stupid VR you push down my throaty. I don't need AI I don't want AI any more than VR.

And I can go on. As by the rules I tried to be nice, but you did everything wrong this time. I use my work phone as a paperweight now and pick it up if it rings. Everything else I do on my work PC from now on. Had it been my own it had been out the door regardless the write-off I'd make.

The power pill is ridiculously hard to read most of the time and not being able to revert to the easy to read percentage number is terrible design.

Adding a notice that they took away the swipe up navigation (two versions ago) was a reminder of how stupid their design choices are.

Other than that it is fine. No idea why any of the layout changes were made other than to just be changed. Yay, not I get to relearn the now app code colors again!
