Texas built these without teaching drivers how to use them. Even if you include them in drivers ed today, that only includes new drivers, not the other 95% of people behind the wheel.

Airing some PSAs about how these work is the least TxDOT could have done.

If the concept of roundabouts is too complex for someone, they should not be allowed to operate anything with a motor.

Well if we would make people take a driving test every seven to ten years, we could weed out these people. But this is the state that got rid of car inspections, so that’s not going to happen.

Roundabouts are quite simple. Don't drive into oncoming traffic.

If someone has fucked up on a roundabout it's because they have not managed to do this, and god help them on a more complex scenario such as regular intersection.

There is nothing you can say or do to get me to use a protected lane for a u-turn.

Unless you're talking about the gaps in medians that I like to hug the closest median on because I enjoy it when neither of us can see to uturn.
