Perfect timing for them to set unused due to tariff wars...

They can put them in the lot with the LAPD's unused electric BMW's..

Might as well get a bunch of maintenance and upgrades done now while they aren't busy.

...assuming the business ever comes back, that is.

That'll probably be quite a big quality of life change for the drivers. My brother used to drive tugs shifting containers on the port side. He spoke about how the engine noise and vibration just went straight through you for the whole of your shift.

Electric should be a lot quieter and smoother.
