They could make European engines.

Making any rails? Well we're constructing a new high speed rail connection, (although downsized) and we're maintaining the existing network.

As far as the PM, he has a policy of nationalising the railways. Apart from that I don't think he's really taken any position on public Vs private transport.

Such apathy. This government really knows how to say what it stands for!

Biggest concern for me is where do the busses go. Pushing them down side roads is not a good idea.

Oxford Street, not Oxford. Completely different place.

  • Network Rail: State owned
  • Scunthorpe works: State recently took emergency action to stop them closing.

Guess the tender process was challenging on that one.

...but rightly so. We should be using our steel works to make our train tracks.

Will that include busses? ...because those are some fairly major bus routes. About 5-6 daytime routes and the same at night.

Edit: I guess so

Detailed traffic proposals to reroute buses and ban all traffic will be released and consulted on later this year.

There'd be smaller tutorial sessions. I'd have a once a week 5 on 1 session with my tutor for an hour. Lab sessions might be 30-40 people. Specialist courses would be 100 people.

...but yes, lectures were 300+ people for the core subjects. Generally you and your peers would work together on making sense of it all. You'd find that some people understood some subjects better than others and you'd help each other out.

Then I'm not sure what you're fighting to keep.
