Just sitting here thinking about things that upset me that I see happen in '80s anime OVAs.
crazy to think that if I were only tiny number of years older (I'm guessing 4) then I might have experienced mixtapes and pogs.
I found a pill bottle full of pogs in the gutter once, that was a fun week
IDK what you even do with them, I just remember older kids had fat stacks of them until they completely disappeared.
It was like a weird trading card/gambling thing. You'd get several people to shuffle their pogs into a stack, then you'd each smack the top of the stack with this thick plastic disc called a "slammer." Any pogs that land face-up were yours now.
Serenading my beloved with alternating bouts of death metal growls and black metal pterodactyl vocal fry screams
