Anyone have a summary? I have no idea what's going on.
So, the blaja community is locked down, content migrated to world, and it may be because they want to be transphobic but maybe not. Also, someone named Ada has support. Also, world may not be the best instance.
Not out of transphobia. I believe a good portion of the mod team is trans, for that matter.
The person named Ada is the Admin of Blahaj, who the 196 mods had disagreements with over her bans and removals in 196.
.world is divisive. Some people dislike it because it's the largest instance. Others point to the fact that its admins are amateurs who make plenty of mistakes (true), but I have trouble squaring that with the fact that every other instance on here is run by amateurs as well. Some .world mod teams have bad reputations that are not wholly unearned. Some just don't like that .world doesn't enforce their political worldview of choice.
