Genuinely can't imagine being mad about this part of character creation when the more pressing issue for if you are a big gamer who care about video games, is that the game doesn't let you pick your own skills.
they killed the skill/feat system years ago. skyrim was the Tiktaalik between real RPGs and whatever the fuck fallout 4 is.
No no its way dumber than that, there are some form of skills in the game still, but they are assigned in fixed sets of 3 to the various "backgrounds" of the game, and there is no options to change what skills each of these sets have, even the blank slate background has 3 fixed skills.
