That’s the way it always works, regardless of whether you’re talking about a Republican or Democrat. It can be a long time before economic policy changes have a noticeable effect, and whoever is in office when that happens gets the credit or blame.

Anyone taking bets on who he'll blame and fire first when his (and conservatives) economic, social, and geopolitical plans tank the country? I'm betting on Musk getting the boot first before any of that happens, it's hard to imagine two egotistical dumbasses working together for very long. But, after that? Kevin Hassett who's going to lead the National Economic Council.
