Anyone can feel free to correct me on this; I'm not huge into the shoe gaze scene.

I'd say not so much. Primarily because I generally associate shoe gaze to incorporate guitars predominantly as a textural element in the music where as Fazerdaze here still employs guitars to deliver clear, mostly undistorted melodies.

Again, I'm happy to be corrected on this if I'm not quite hitting on something key.
