They did disclose they are using Lemmy for free adspace, that's why you should have paid attention to the arguments Misskey and FireFish devs have for implementing voluntary ads into platforms if people want. The alternative is letting corpos constantly worm their way in and use our resources and exert control over them for free.

oh so vivaldi users read descriptive statements with caveman speak grammar. makes sense
