This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.

The comments on the .world post read like an advert for .ml. "They banned me for being a piece of shit, and tried to have slurs blocked in the source."
The devs come off extremely based in that github thread the poster linked. "Fork it if you don't like it" as if "Lemmy_but_with_slurs" is going to overtake the original version.

I really don't understand why lemmy.ml's instance description no longer has "leftist" in it as it once had. That probably would have prevented a lot of the confusion. (and probably would have somewhat preserved the "culture" of the instance even after the reddit flood)
