Are people beginning to understand? Don’t worry. A huge number of them will still fall for culture war bullshit.

What does culture war bullshit mean?

[–] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 1 points 1 year ago

Culture war bullshit = "oh no, trans!" and "teaching my children about racism will make them feel bad for being white."

And the article does nothing to suggest we're wrong to think this.

Until people start doing anything about it, it doesn't really matter who gets the blame.

it doesn’t really matter who gets the blame.

it actually really does.
A well employed tactic of the rich and powerful is to sow division among the working class, getting us to blame each other to shift responsibility and attention away from them.
More people starting to finally realise who is really responsible is absolutely necessary for any progress to happen.
