"Forgot" is a weird word to use for services intentionally and maliciously designed to be as difficult as possible to cancel to maximize profit

Before my Dad died he was probably wasting $1000+ a month on subscriptions he had started up years ago and forgotten about. I started helping out with his finances to try to get him on a sustainable budget and it was like trying to take care of weeds. Even when you think you’ve gotten them all, still more would appear out of seemingly nowhere to deduct another surprise payment.

I try to stick with doing all my subscriptions with apple, google or PayPal. Always keep it where it’s easy to kill.
