he knows that the failure in the unites states democracy is 'speed'. he can literally do whatever he wants as long as he does it faster than the courts can function.

there is little stopping him from generating war.

dude is so incredibly thirsty for the u.s. to enter into a war hes going to make it happen.

and all congress can do is sit and lick his balls, apparently.

just watched the netflix documentary... its clear the 'genius billionaire' wasnt all that smart in that he did not trust the materials scientists the world over who told him carbon fiber does not behave as he expected it world.

the craft was advertising its imminent failure and he continued on.

he was a fucking idiot. he got exactly what he deserved. its too bad he had to take several other innocent people with him.

everything about this looks on point

its absurd in all the right places, but with modern articulation. this doesnt appear to be one of those cash-grab sequels that ends up sucking donkey balls...

i cant fucking wait.

people ask me all the time my families background/heritage... my answer is 'like i give a fuck'

cuz i dont.

ah yes 'nazis'.... the 'theyre comin right for us!' of the russian dicatatorship.

racism is easier to support online than in person.

the best way to resolve racist opinions is to coerce those with abhorrent views to see their targets as human beings exactly like themselves. having this happen physically, in person, is a requirement.

israel has been displacing people since inception. genocide isnt their motivation or purpose so much as it is their method as you noted. there are many options and many things can be true at once.

the genocide is ancillary to the annexation.

and i wholly agree, they should pay for committing the act of genocide.

the whole thing reminds me of that south park episode where its ok to kill things if you scream 'theyre comin right for us!' first.

right, those actual journalists who are from organizations ejected from the whitehouse and threatened by a fascist takeover of the fcc to lose their licenses for pointing out the king has no clothes.

hows that neutrality workin out for ya, switzerland

kind feels like the story is the zombified population voting against their own best interests and it should be followed up on by everyone with a voice.

this isnt 50 years ago when honesty, decorum, respect existed and the league of women voters ran presidential debates. we are now a non-trivial percent away from no longer being a democracy.

i cant blame him. coming of age in trumps america would put anyone with empathy off. hes applying for visas now and i suspect his australian native girlfriend will soon be 'fiance'.

any tips? warnings? my only concern is the real possibility of never seeing him again.

as a recent owner of a large animal, and a big fan of bill murrays more non-standard, emotional movies.. this was perfect. not too sweet, not too sad. complex, yet still manages to convey the basic relationship man has to his dog. i dare say.. classy.

its well written. so much so i cant decide if the movie is about the dog or the main characters interaction with it. i suspect the title is purposefully vague.

music seems to be a background theme; slow, romantic. it flows with the occupation of the main cast as writers... over-thinkers. clearly meant to be the weight on the heartstrings while you ponder the existence of things such as friends.

the humans are awash in their intermingled, messy world and yet here is this majestic beast clearly, stoically working through its own grief.

this is no marley & me. this is more... constructive. almost philosophical regarding an emotional connection to an animal.

highly recommend, especially if you have a [large breed] dog.

im not crying, youre crying.

ive been tasked by an associate to hunt down a documentary they claim was released in the late 90s. they mentioned remembering the host searching for actors on the show to be interviewed.

ive found several, but they claim its none of them.

as many americans forced to run with a 401k because we dont know any better and its the 'path of least resistance' to a retirement account... what do we do in the face of a dying democracy and economy?

id love to move it to some 'foreign' investments, but is that even a possible option? do i just hope and wait for stability to return at some point in the future or is it hookers and blow time?
