God I feel dumb asking this question but I can't seem to do this thing.

I'm on the latest version of jerboa from f-droid and there isn't any filtering for searching keywords in communities. Until it's built or a 3rd party app like sync is up, we'll have to use web version for searching

Infinity For Lemmy (Alpha 2) supports searching

Use your client's search function? On the standard web app, click the magnifying glass icon in the top right, pick the community, some keywords, and search.

I'm just using the sh.itjust.works and kbin via browsers. I'm open to client suggestions.
