Who has time to worry about Canada legalizing weed when the US (where I'm from) is balancing on an ever thinner knife's while lunatics in/running for government positions are actively trying to pull us down into actual Hell. I just hope the chaos doesn't spill over into y'all's country. Canada has been a good neighbor and I've got friends and family up there.

Sadly, some of the chaos is already spilling over. The guy slated to probably be our next PM is basically Trump Jr. and has done all he can to appeal to the far right here, who have gotten exponentially more vocal and empowered in recent years. My province is also working slowly toward privitized healthcare too. Canada is more and more just America Jr. these days.

Pierre is far from Trump. I say this as someone who hates his guts, we need to stop ourselves from adopting American political discourse as our own.
