Ive just started playing chrono cross. Not far in and its ps2 / 3 age is showing but hopefully its story carries it.

Gotta remember PS2 had FFX which was a massive improvement in the graphics department, still remember the first time I saw it and I was like "OMG THIS IS LIKE PLAYING CGI, DOESNT GET BETTER THAN THIS"

i legit though for a while all games just look worse than FFX. That's for sure not true, but i even thought that about a lot ps3 games. That was just my brain praise FFX to much.

It was pretty sweet looking, though. Especially for someone like me that needs better framerates. FF7 through 9 topping at 15fps in battle was brutal for me.

I played the remakes of the first and second star ocean game this year. At least the second (original) got some praise. I think, and that just for the remakes, you see the age of the games. Still was interresting enough and i'm not the biggest retro gamer.
